S.O. 2963(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Protection of Plant
Varieties and Farmers Rights Act, 2001 (53 of 2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following further
amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare
(Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare) number S.O. 1589(E), published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 11th November, 2005, namely:—
In the said notification, for items (xii), (xiv) and (xv) and the entries relating thereto, the following item
numbers and entries shall respectively be substituted, namely:-
“(xii) Vice-chancellor,
