Public Notice
Public at large are hereby informed that Mr. Mahesh Vishnupant Kothe who had filed Election
Petition Lodg. No. 543 of 2025 before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court challenging election of
Vijaykumar Deshmukh from 248 Solapur City, North Assembly Constituency held in November
2024, has passed away on 14th January 2025, at Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Pursuant to order dated 14th July 2025 passed by the Hon’ble Shri Justice Abhay Ahuja, and
as per provisions in Section 112 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, any person who
might himself have been a Petitioner may within a period of 14 days hereof apply to be substituted
as Petitioner and upon compliance of the conditions, if any, as security, shall be entitled to be so
substituted and to continue the proceedings upon such terms as this Court may deem fit.
