4. दिनांक 29 जसतंबर 2024 के सा.आ. 4259(ई) के परै ा 9 की ताजलका-1 म,ें ई -2 पजहया के जलए कुल खचा ₹2,767
करोड़ होगा। इसके अलावा, प्रिासजनक व्यय के जलए ₹55 करोड़ का प्रावधान होगा, जिसमें प्रिासजनक व्यय के तहत
अलग-अलग उप-घिकों के बीच खचों को आपस में समायोजित करन े की सुजवधा होगी।
5. दिनांक 29 जसतम्बर, 2024 के सां.आ. 4259(ई) द्वारा अजधसूजचत स्ट्कीम के पैरा 46, जिसे दिनांक 7 अगस्ट्त, 2025
के सां.आ. 3626(ई) तिा दिनाकं 27 माच,ा 2026 के सां.आ. 1617(ई) द्वारा संिोजधत दकया गया िा, को जनम्नानुसार
पुन: संिोजधत दकया िाता ह:ै
यह एक जनजध-सीजमत स्ट्कीम ह।ै इस स्ट्कीम के अंतगात कुल भगु तान ₹11,900 करोड़ तक सीजमत होगा। यदि
स्ट्कीम की अंजतम जतजि अिाात् 31 माच,ा 2028 स े पूवा स्ट्कीम या इसके संबंजधत उप-घिकों के जलए उपलब्ध
जनजध समाप्त हो िाती ह,ै तो स्ट्कीम अिवा इसके संबंजधत उप-घिकों को तिनुसार बंि कर दिया िाएगा,
अिाात ् इसके पश्चात दकसी भी अजतररक्त िावे पर जवचार नहीं दकया िाएगा।
इसके अजतररक्त, उप-घिक पंिीकृत ई-जतपजहया (एल5) के जलए जनधााररत जबक्री लक्ष्य पहले ही प्राप्त दकया
िा चुका ह,ै अतः इस खडं को दिनांक 26 दिसम्बर, 2025 को बंि कर दिया गया ह,ै जिसकी सूचना भारी
उद्योग मंत्रालय के कायाालय ज्ञापन संख्या एफ.स.ं 1(1)/2024-एईआई (भाग-II) (29996),
दिनांक 23 दिसम्बर, 2025 के माध्यम स े पहले ही िी िा चुकी ह।ै
चूंदक 31 माच ा2028 इस स्ट्कीम के सभी जहस्ट्सों के जलए अंजतम जतजि ह,ै इस जतजि के बाि एमएचआई/पीएमए
की ओर स े कोई भगु तान नहीं दकया िाएगा। इसजलए, स्ट्कीम के दकसी भी जहस्ट्स े के जलए एमएचआई/पीएमए
को कोई भी िावा िमा करन े की अंजतम जतजि 31 दिसंबर 2027 होगी।

1. In partial modification of the PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement (PM E-DRIVE)
Scheme which was notified by the Ministry of Heavy Industries vide S.O. 4259(E) dated 29th September 2024, the
following amendments are made with effect from date of publication in the official gazette:
2. Para 5 of the Scheme notification of S.O. 4259(E) dated 29th September 2024 & as amended vide S.O. 3626(E)
dated 7th August 2025, shall stand further amended as under:
The PM E-DRIVE Scheme, with an outlay of ₹11,900 crore, is being implemented from 1st April 2024 till
31st March 2028, for faster adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), setting up of charging infrastructure and
development of EV manufacturing eco-system in the country. The EMPS-2024 implemented during 1st April
2024 to 30th September 2024 was subsumed under this Scheme.
3. Sl. No. 1 of the Annexure-4 of S.O. 4259(E) dated 29th September 2024 & as amended vide S.O. 1617(E) dated
27th March, 2026 shall stand further amended as under:

*1 The proposed amount of incentive per kWh is, however, subject to review as per the reduction in vehicle
cost and would be notified accordingly from time to time. The incentive shall be limited to as specified
above or 15% of ex-factory price of e-2W/ e-3W, whichever is lower.
*2 The outlay under EMPS-2024 has been subsumed within the outlay under PM E-DRIVE.
4. In Table-1 of para 9 of S.O. 4259(E) dated 29th September 2024, the total outlay for e-2Ws shall be
₹2,767 crore. Further, the outlay for Admin Expenses shall be ₹55 crore along with fungibility of expenses within
various sub-heads under admin expenses.
5. Para 46 of the Scheme notification of S.O. 4259(E) dated 29th September 2024 and as amended vide
S.O. 3626(E) dated 7th August 2025 & vide S.O. 1617(E) dated 27th March, 2026, shall stand further amended as under:
This is a fund-limited scheme. Total payout under the Scheme shall be limited to the scheme outlay of ₹11,900
crore. In case the funds for the Scheme or its relevant sub-components are exhausted prior to the terminal date
of the Scheme i.e. 31st March 2028, then the Scheme or its relevant subcomponents will be closed accordingly
i.e. no further claims will be entertained.
Further, as the target sales for sub-component registered e-3W (L5) has already been achieved, this segment
was closed on 26th December 2025, as already advised vide MHI’s O.M. F.No. 1(1)/2024-AEI (PartII) (29996)
dated 23rd December 2025.
Since 31st March 2028 is the terminal date for all segments under the Scheme no payments will be made by
MHI/ PMA after this date. Therefore, the last date for submission of any claim to MHI/PMA for any scheme
component shall be 31st December 2027.
