**Summary:**
A press communique released by the Ministry of Law and Justice on July 14, 2025, announces appointments and transfers of Chief Justices of High Courts, as approved by the President of India in consultation with the Chief Justice of India, and in exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India.
The following judges have been appointed as Chief Justices: Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva (currently Acting CJ, Madhya Pradesh) to Madhya Pradesh, Justice Vibhu Bakhru (Judge, Delhi) to Karnataka, Justice Ashutosh Kumar (currently Acting CJ, Gauhati) to Patna, Justice Vipul Manubhai Pancholi (Judge, Patna) to Patna, and Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan (Judge, Jharkhand) to Himachal Pradesh.
