Opportunities: The Role of Regional Media in Spreading Public Awareness” in Buldhana
Posted On: 08 SEP 2026 3:47PM by PIB Mumbai Nagpur/Buldhana : 8 September 2026 The Press Information Bureau (PIB), Nagpur, will organise a VARTALAP – Media Conference for journalists from Buldhana district on 09 September 2026 at Buldhana Residency, Ganesh Nagar, Malkapur Road, Buldhana, from 10 am to 3 pm.
The workshop will focus on the theme “Skill Development and Future Opportunities:
The Role of Regional Media in Spreading Public Awareness.” The inaugural session will be held in the presence of prominent officers from the Buldhana district.
The workshop aims to strengthen awareness among media professionals about emerging opportunities in skill development, tourism, sustainable development and Government initiatives, while highlighting the important role of the media in creating awareness and aspirations and disseminating accurate information among citizens.
The technical sessions will focus on sectors and issues relevant to Buldhana's development and future potential.
The programme will also feature a special session on “Role of the Press Information Bureau in Disseminating Information to the Print, Electronic and Digital Media on Government Policies, Programmes, Initiatives and Achievements, Journalist Welfare Scheme and PIB Fact Check.”The programme will also include an interaction between beneficiaries of Central Sector Schemes and media representatives, providing an opportunity for journalists to gain first-hand insights into the impact of Government initiatives at the grassroots level.
Designed for professionals from the print, electronic and digital media, the VARTALAP Media Workshop will promote dialogue, knowledge sharing and capacity building among journalists. The programme will also provide an opportunity for media professionals to engage with subject experts, Government officials and beneficiaries, thereby strengthening informed, accurate and responsible reporting on issues of public importance.
