भारतीय बीमा िविनयामक और िवकास (cid:366)ािधकरण Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (cid:366)ेस (cid:366)कािशी | 02 अ(cid:366)ैल, 2026 Press Release | 02 April, 2026 आईआरडीएआई ने िव(cid:517) वष(cid:330) 2025-26 के िलए घरेलू (cid:366)णालीगत (cid:349)प से मह(cid:533)पूण(cid:330) बीमाकता(cid:330)ओ ं(डी- एसआईआई) की सूची जारी की IRDAI releases FY 2025-26 List of Domestic Systemically Important Insurers (D-Slls) IRDAI completed the annual exercise of identifying Domestic Systemically Important Insurers (D-SIIs) for FY 2025-26. The following insurers continue to be identified as D-SIIs and there is no change from FY 2024-25: 1. Life Insurance Corporation of India 2. The New India Assurance Company Ltd. 3. General Insurance Corporation of India D-Slls refer to insurers of such size, market importance, and domestic and global inter connectedness, whose distress or failure would cause a significant dislocation in the domestic financial system. Therefore, the continued functioning of D-Slls is critical for the uninterrupted availability of insurance services to the national economy. Given the nature of their operations and the systemic importance of the D-Slls, these insurers have to carry forward their efforts on raising the level of corporate governance, identifying all relevant risks and promoting a sound risk management framework and culture. D-SIIs are subjected to enhanced regulatory supervision.
