भारतीय बीमा विवियामक और विकास प्राविकरण Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India प्रेस प्रकाशिी - 9 मार्च 2026 Press Release - 9th March 2026 प्राविकरण की 134िी ींबैठक / 134th Meeting of the Authority प्राधिकरण की 134वी ींबैठक 9 मार्च 2026 को आयोधित की गई थी। बैठक के दौरान, प्राधिकरण ने धवधिन्न धवधनयामक धवषयो ींपर धवर्ार धकया। दो बीमा सींस्थाओ ीं को पींिीकरण प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान करने को अनुमोदन प्रदान धकया गया। प्राधिकरण ने एक पुनबीमाकताच, मैससच आधियाींि धियो रीइींश्योरेंस धिधमटेड और एक सािारण बीमाकताच, मैससच कीवी िनरि इींश्योरेंस धिधमटेड को अनुमोदन प्रदान धकया, धिससे वे िागू धवधनयामक ढाींर्े के अनुसार व्यवसाय करने में सक्षम हो गए। प्राधिकरण ने सबका बीमा सबकी रक्षा (बीमा कानूनो ीं में सींशोिन) अधिधनयम, 2025 ("एसबीएसआर अधिधनयम") के अधिधनयमन के अनुसार आवश्यक धवधनयामक ढाींर्े पर िी धवर्ार-धवमशच धकया। एसबीएसआर अधिधनयम 21 धदसींबर 2025 को अधिसूधर्त धकए गए थे और यह 5 फरवरी 2026 से प्रिावी हुआ। यह कानून बीमा अधिधनयम, 1938 और आईआरडीए अधिधनयम, 1999 में सींशोिन करता है, धिससे नए कानून के प्राविानो ींके साथ धवधनयामक ढाींर्े को सींरेखित करने के धिए नए धवधनयमो ीं के धनमाचण और मौिूदा धवधनयमो ींमें सींशोिन करने की आवश्यकता हो गई है। धवधनयामक सींरेिण प्रधिया में तेिी िाने और एसबीएसआर अधिधनयम के सुिारो ींको शाधमि करने के धिए, प्राधिकरण ने एसबीएसआर अधिधनयम के अनुसार तैयार धकए िाने वािे धवधनयमो ीं के सींबींि में धहतिारक परामशच के धिए मसौदा धवधनयमो ीं का मसौदा तैयार करने और प्रकाधशत करने के धिए सैद्ाींधतक मींिूरी प्रदान की है। The 134th Meeting of the Authority was held on 9th March 2026. During the meeting, the Authority considered various regulatory matters. Approval was accorded for the grant of Certificate of Registration to two insurance entities. The Authority accorded approval to one reinsurer, M/s Allianz Jio Reinsurance Limited, and one general insurer, M/s Kiwi General Insurance Limited, enabling them to undertake business in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework. The Authority also deliberated on the regulatory framework required pursuant to the enactment of the Sabka Bima Sabki Raksha (Amendment of Insurance Laws) Act, 2025 (“SBSR Act”). The SBSR Act was notified on 21st December 2025 and came into force with effect from 5th February 2026. The legislation amends the Insurance 1Act, 1938 and the IRDA Act, 1999, thereby necessitating the framing of new regulations and amendments to existing regulations to align the regulatory framework with the provisions of the new law. In order to expedite the regulatory alignment process and incorporating reforms of SBSR Act, the Authority granted in-principle approval for drafting and publishing the draft regulations for stakeholder consultation with regard to the regulations which are required to be framed pursuant to SBSR Act. *** 2
