Shri Modi said that Digital India has redefined governance by making it more transparent, efficient and
citizen-centric while accelerating all-round development across the country. He noted that the initiative
has touched every aspect of life, from seamless digital payments and transparent Direct Benefit Transfers
to the expansion of Digital Public Infrastructure, making technology a powerful instrument for enhancing
the "Ease of Living."
The Prime Minister observed that the widespread adoption of technology by over a billion Indians has
brought about a transformative change, making Digital India a strong foundation for a developed and self-
reliant India. Shri Modi further stated that Digital India has taken the wave of innovation to every part of
