The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, paid tributes to renowned litterateur Munshi Premchand on his
birth anniversary.
The Prime Minister said that through his timeless literary works, Munshi Premchand gave a powerful
expression to human emotions that continues to remain relevant even today. He also noted his invaluable
contribution in bringing the literary heritage of Kashi, his birthplace and karmabhoomi, to global
recognition.
Shri Modi said that Munshi Premchand’s immortal literature, rooted in realism and social equality, will
continue to inspire the people of the country.

“महान कथाकार मुंशी ेमचंद जी को उनक जन्म-जयंती पर आदरपूण श्रांजल। अपनी कालजयी रचनाओं के माध्यम स े उने
