Posted On: 25 SEP 2026 8:20AM by PIB Delhi Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Ji on his Jayanti today, noting his vision of 'Antyodaya' and the upliftment of the marginalized as the foundation of nation- building. The Prime Minister called upon everyone to imbibe his ideals and fulfill social and national responsibilities. On this occasion, Shri Modi also shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam, highlighting that success and innovation are driven by continuous effort and courage, rather than luck.
The Prime Minister wrote on X; "राष्ट्रसेवा के से साधक पंडत दीनदयाल उपााय जी को उनक जयंती पर सादर नमन। उने समाज क अंतम पं म खड़े व्य के उान को राष्ट्र नमाण का आधार माना और अंोदय क एक ऐसी वचारधारा दी, जसस े आज भी जनकाण क अद्भतु प्रेरणा मलती ह।ै आइए, इस वशेष अवसर पर उनके वचार और आदश को आत्मसात कर सामाजक और राष्ट्रीय दाय को पूरा करने का संकल्प दोहराएं। यथा यथा प्रयः ाद्भवेदाशु फल ंतथा। इत पौरुषमेवा दैवमु तदेव च॥" The greater a person's effort and perseverance, the sooner they achieve success. Innovation is also founded on continuous effort. Therefore, it is not luck but dedicated action, courage and the resolve to transform new ideas into reality that pave the way for both success and innovation.
