The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today recalled the historic Nuclear tests conducted by India in
Pokhran in May 1998, describing them as a defining moment in our nation's resolve. “After the May 11
tests, the entire world brought pressure to bear on India, but we demonstrated that no power can bend
India”, Shri Modi remarked.
