emphasis on non-violence for the protection of humanity:
"अहसा परमो धमस्तथाऽहसा परन्तपः।
अहसा परम ंस ंयतो धमः प्रवतते॥"
The Subhashitam conveys that, nonviolence is the highest duty, nonviolence is the highest penance.
Nonviolence is the ultimate truth, from which all Dharma proceeds.
