He noted that the occasion inspires the nation with renewed energy and motivation to move forward together with a firm resolve towards nation-building.
The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam on the occasion- “पारतन्त्र्याभभूतस्य देशस्याुदयः कुतः। अतः स्वातन्त्र्यमाप्तव्यमै ंस्वातन्त्र्यसाधनम्॥” The Subhashitam conveys that a nation that is dependent or under subjugation cannot progress. Therefore, only by adopting freedom and unity as our guiding principles can the progress of the nation be ensured.
