He noted that the spirit of selfless service, dedication and benevolence gives a new direction to the nation. The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam- “जीवनं ंपराथाय न ंयच्छत मानवाः। इत सशे माात ुंसमुं या नम्नगाः॥” The Subhashitam conveys that human beings, dedicate your lives to the service and welfare of others. Just as rivers flow ceaselessly and selflessly, sustaining countless lives with their waters before ultimately merging into the ocean, so should we devote our time, abilities and resources to the well-being of others. The true purpose and fulfilment of human life lie in selfless service, compassion and the welfare of all.
