(a) the total number of people employed under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Auto
scheme sanctioned in the year 2022-2023;
(b) the impact of the scheme on the manufacturing of Advanced Automotive Technology (AAT)
Products and their supply in India; and
(c) the data regarding the cost of each job on the Government exchequer under the
aforementioned scheme?

(a) & (b): PLI-Auto scheme provides financial incentives to boost domestic manufacturing
of Advanced Automotive Technology (AAT) products and attract investments in the
automotive manufacturing value chain. The scheme has boosted the production of AAT
Products. As on 31.03.2025, cumulative sales of AAT products under the scheme is ₹19,753
crore and employment created is 44,987 nos.
(c): The jobs are provided by the approved applicants and Government does not bear any
expenditure on them.
