And whereas the plan bearing number BJ/Land Plan/22/47, dated the 4th June 2022 containing details of the area of land described in the said Schedule may be inspected at the office of the Director Technical (Project and Planning), Eastern Coalfields Limited, Sanctoria, Post Office Dishergarh, District Paschim Bardhaman 713333, West Bengal or at the office of the Chief General Manager (Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited, Gondwana Palace, Kanke Road, Ranchi, 834008, Jharkhand or at the office of Coal Controller, Coal Controller’s Organisation, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th floor, Core II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110092 or at the office of the District Collector, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal from the land described in the said Schedule. Any person interested in the land described in the said Schedule may – i. claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by any action taken under sub-section (3) of section 4 thereof; or ii. claim compensation under sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Act in respect of prospecting licenses ceasing to have effect or under sub-section (4) of section 13 of the Act for mining lease ceasing to have effect and deliver all maps, charts and other documents relating to the land to show the expenditure incurred in respect of items specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of subsection (1) of section 13 of the said Act, to the officer of the Director Technical (Project and Planning), Eastern Coalfields Limited, Sanctoria, Post Office Dishergarh, District Paschim Bardhaman, 713333, West Bengal within a period of ninety days from the date of publication of this notification.4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] SCHEDULE Name of the Coal Mining Block: Bonjemihary (District: Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal) [Plan bearing number BJ/Land Plan/22/47, dated the 4th June 2022] Patwari Circle Sl.
