And whereas, the plan bearing numbers TC/AG/SUR/REV.PLAN/2025-26/591 dated the 04th August 2025 and TC/AG/SUR/REV.PLAN/2025-26/592 dated the 04th August 2025 containing details of the areas of land described in the said Schedule may be inspected at the office of the Director Technical (P&P), Eastern Coalfields Limited, Sanctoria, P.O-Disergarh, District-Paschim Bardhaman, PIN Code-713333 or at the office of the Chief General Manager (Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited, Gondwana Place, Kanke Road, Ranchi (Jharkhand) or at the office of Coal Controller’s Organizations, SCOPE MINAR, 5th Floor, Core- II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi-110092 or at the office of the District Collector,Paschim Bardhaman;4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal in the land described in the said Schedule. Any person interested in the land described in the said Schedule may – i. claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by any action taken under sub-section (3) of section 4 of the said Act; or ii. claim compensation under sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Act in respect of prospecting licensed ceasing to have effect or under sub-section (4) of section 13 of the said Act for mining lease ceasing to have effect and deliver all maps, charts and other documents relating to the aforesaid land to show the expenditure incurred in respect of items specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of sub-section (1) of section 13 of the said Act, to the office of the Director Technical (P&P), Eastern Coalfields Limited, Sanctoria, P.O-Disergarh, District-Paschim Bardhaman, PIN Code-713333 within a period of ninety days from the date of publication of this notification.
