NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st July, 2026 S.O. 3992(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 959 (E), dated the 23rd February, 2026, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the coal bearing areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said act) and published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 25th February, 2026, the Central Government gave notice of its intention to acquire the land measuring 489.34 Acres (approximately) or 198.04 Hectares (approximately) with all rights in or over such land specified in the Schedule annexed to that notification; And whereas, the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said act has made his report to the Central Government; And whereas, the central government after considering the report aforesaid and after consulting the government of Jharkhand is satisfied that the land measuring 489.34 Acres (approximately) or 198.04 Hectares (approximately), with all rights in or over the said land as specified in the said Schedule should be acquired; Now, therefore, in exercise of the
