अतः अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 6 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए
यह घोषणा करती ह ै दक इस अजधसूचना से सलं ग्न अनुसूची में जवजनर्िजष्ट भूजम म ें पाइपलाइन जबछान े के जलए उपयोग के
अजधकार का अिजन दकया िाए ;
और केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 6 की उप-धारा (4) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, यह
जनिेि िेती ह ै दक उक्त भूजम में उपयोग का अजधकार इस घोषणा के प्रकािन की दिनांक से केन्द्रीय सरकार में जनजहत होन े
की बिाए, सभी जवल्लगं मों से मुक्त होकर भारत पेरोजलयम कॉपोरेिन जलजमटेड म ेंजनजहत होगी।
पेरोजलयम और खजनि पाइपलाइन अजधजनयम, 1962 की धारा 10 के अधीन दकसी भी क्षजतपूर्तज के जलए भारत
पेरोजलयम कॉपोरेिन जलजमटेड पणू जतया उत्तरिायी होगा और पाइपलाइन स े सम्बजन्द्धत दकसी भी मामले पर केन्द्रीय
सरकार के जवरुद्ध कोई वाि, िावा या कानूनी कायजवाही नहीं हो सकेगी।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th August, 2026
S.O. 4513(E).— Whereas by a notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Petroleum and
Natural Gas S.O. No. 873(E) Dated the 18 February, 2025 issued under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Petroleum
and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition under Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962) (herein after referred to as
the said Act), published in the Extraordinary Gazette of India No. 867, Dated 19 February, 2025 the Central
Government declared its intention to acquire the right of user in the land specified in the Schedule appended to that
notification for the purpose of laying Mumbai – Rasayani Pipeline for transportation of petroleum product from
Mumbai (Refinery) to Rasayani (Maharashtra) by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.
And whereas copies of the said Gazette notification were made available to the public.
And whereas the competent authority has under sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the said Act submitted report
to the Central Government.
And whereas the Central Government, after considering the said report and being satisfied that the said land
is required for laying the pipeline, has decided to acquire the land under the right of user therein.
Now, therefore, in the exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the said Act, the
Central Government hereby declares that the right of user in the land, specified in the Schedule appended to this
notification, is hereby acquired for laying the pipeline.
And further, in the exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 6 of the said Act, the
Central Government hereby directs that the right of user in the said land for laying the pipeline shall, instead of
vesting in the Central Government, vest on the date of the publication of the declaration, in Bharat Petroleum
Corporation Limited, free from all encumbrances.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited shall be exclusively liable for any compensation in terms of Section
10 of the P&MP Act, 1962 and no suit, claim or legal proceeding would lie against the Central Government on any
