अजधकाररयों के जििेषाजधकारों और उन्मुजियों का प्रािधान ह;ै
और जबदक, केंद्र सरकार उपयुाि मेजबान देि करार के अनुच्छेद X के अनुसार अंतरााष्ट्रीय जबग कैट एलायंस, इसके
प्रजतजनजधयों और अजधकाररयों को संयुि राष्ट्र (जििेषाजधकार और उन्मुजि) अजधजनयम, 1947 (1947 का 46) के तहत
प्रदत्त आिश्यक जििेषाजधकार और उन्मुजि प्रदान करना आिश्यक समझती ह;ै
अब, इसजलए, केंद्र सरकार, संयुि राष्ट्र (जििेषाजधकार और उन्मुजि) अजधजनयम, 1947 (1947 का 46) की धारा
3 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एतद्द्वारा घोषणा करती ह ै दक उि अजधजनयम की अनुसूची के अनुच्छेद I की
धारा 1 के प्रािधान, अनुच्छेद II के तहत प्रािधान, अनुच्छेद III की धारा 9, अनुच्छेद V की धारा 18 और 20 तथा
अनुच्छेद VI की धारा 22 और 23, यथािश्यक पररितना ों सजहत, अंतरााष्ट्रीय जबग कैट एलायंस, इसके प्रजतजनजधयों और
अजधकाररयों पर लागू होंगे।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th August, 2025
S.O. 3752(E).—Whereas, the Government of India signed the Host Country Agreement with the
International Big Cat Alliance(IBCA) on 17th April, 2025 for establishing the International Big Cat Alliance(IBCA)
in India;
And whereas, Article X of the Host Country Agreement provides for privileges and immunities of the
International Big Cat Alliance, its representatives and officials;
And whereas, the Central Government considers it expedient to extend the necessary privileges and
immunities provided under the United Nations (Privileges and Immunities) Act, 1947 (46 of 1947) to the International
Big Cat Alliance, its representatives and officials in accordance with Article X of the above mentioned Host Country
Agreement;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the United Nations (Privileges and
Immunities) Act, 1947 (46 of 1947), the Central Government hereby declares that the provisions of section 1 of
Article I, provisions under Article II, section 9 of Article III, sections 18 and 20 of Article V and sections 22 and 23
of Article VI of the Schedule to the said Act shall apply, mutatis mutandis, to the International Big Cat Alliance, its
representatives and officials.
