(२) हुे दिनांयमं, ताे मंहुाराष्ट्र शासेंनांाच्या राजपोत्रााता प्रदिसेंद्ध झााल्याच्या दिदानांांकाापोासेंूनां अंमंलाता येताील. २. व्याख्या.—या दिनांयमंांता, सेंंदाभाागनांुसेंार दाुसेंरा अर्थग आवाश्यका नांसेंेल तार,— (का) “दिनांयक्ु ताी प्रादि�काारी” याचाा अर्थग, मंख्ु यमंंत्राी, ज,े पोोलीसें उपो मंहुादिनांरीक्षका दिकावां ा अपोर पोोलीसें आयक्ु ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां (ताांदित्राका), गटा-अ वा पोोलीसें अ�ीक्षका दिकांवाा पोोलीसें उपो आयुक्ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां, गटा-अ, या पोदाावार उमंेदावााराचाी दिनांयुक्ताी कार�ार ेसेंक्षमं प्रादि�काारी असेंताील आदि� गृहुमंंत्राी, ज,े पोोलीसें उपो अ�ीक्षका दिकावां ा सेंहुायका पोोलीसें आयक्ु ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां, गटा-अ या पोदाावार उमंेदावााराचाी दिनांयुक्ताी कार�ारे सेंक्षमं प्रादि�काारी असेंताील, असेंा आहुे ; भााग चाार-ब-४५५–१. (१) एचाबी-२४३१-१.2 महाारााष्ट्रट शाासन रााजपत्र असाधााराण भााग चाारा-ब, डि�संबरा ९, २०२५/अग्रहाायण १८, शाके १९४७ (खं) “आयोग” याचाा अर्थग, मंहुाराष्ट्र लोकासेंेवाा आयोग, असेंा आहुे ; (ग) “पोदावाी” याचाा अर्थग, एखंाद्या सेंादिंवादि�का दिवाद्यापोीठााचाी यंत्रा अदिभायादिंत्राकाी दिकावां ा स्वायंचादिलत्रा अदिभायादिंत्राकाी शाखंेताील पोदावाी दिकांवाा शासेंनांानांे दिताच्याशी सेंमंताुल्य असेंल्याचाे घोोदि�ता काेलेली, अन्य काो�ताीहुी अहुगताा, असेंा आहुे ; (घो) “पोोलीसें मंहुासेंचां ालका” याचाा अर्थग, मंहुाराष्ट्र पोोलीसें अदि�दिनांयमंाच्या कालमं ६ अन्वाय ेदिनांयक्ु ता कारण्याता आलेल ेपोोलीसें मंहुासेंंचाालका वा मंहुादिनांरीक्षका, मंहुाराष्ट्र राज्य, असेंा आहुे ; (ङ) “पोदाोन्नांताीचाी पोात्राताा” याचाा अर्थग, शासेंनांाच्या सेंामंान्य प्रशासेंनां दिवाभाागानांे वाेळोवाेळी कााढलेले दिनांयमं, शासेंनां दिनां�गय दिकांवाा आदाेश यांमंध्ये पोदाोन्नांताीसेंाठाी दिवादिनांदिदागष्टा काेलेल्या अटाी वा शताीनांुसेंार असेंलेली पोदाोन्नांताीचाी पोात्राताा, असेंा आहुे ; (चा) “शासेंनां” याचाा अर्थग, मंहुाराष्ट्र शासेंनां, असेंा आहुे ; (छ) “गृहु दिवाभााग” याचाा अर्थग, मंहुाराष्ट्र शासेंनांाचाा गृहु दिवाभााग, असेंा आहुे ; (ज) “अपोर पोोलीसें मंहुासेंंचाालका वा सेंंचाालका, पोोलीसें दाळ�वाळ�, मंादिहुताी तांत्राज्ञाानां वा पोरिरवाहुनां दिवाभााग, मंहुाराष्ट्र राज्य, पोु�े, यांचाे काायागलय” याचाा अर्थग, मंहुाराष्ट्र शासेंनांाच्या गृहु दिवाभाागाच्या प्रशासेंकाीय दिनांयंत्रा�ाखंालील पोोलीसें मंहुासेंंचाालका यांच्या आस्र्थापोनांेवारील, अपोर पोोलीसें मंहुासेंचां ालका वा सेंचां ालका, पोोलीसें दाळ�वाळ�, मंादिहुताी तांत्राज्ञाानां वा पोरिरवाहुनां दिवाभााग, मंहुाराष्ट्र राज्य, पोु�े, असेंा आहुे. ३. पोोलीसें उपो मंहुादिनांरीक्षका दिकांवाा अपोर पोोलीसें आयुक्ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां (ताांदित्राका), गटा-अ या पोदाावारील दिनांयुक्ताी, अपोर पोोलीसें मंहुासेंचां ालका वा सेंचां ालका, पोोलीसें दाळ�वाळ�, मंादिहुताी तांत्राज्ञाानां वा पोरिरवाहुनां दिवाभााग, मंहुाराष्ट्र राज्य, पोु� ेया काायागलयाताील, पोोलीसें अ�ीक्षका दिकांवाा पोोलीसें उपो आयुक्ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां, गटा-अ हुे पोदा �ार� कार�ाऱ्या तासेंेचा उक्ता पोदाावार दाहुा वा�ा�पोेक्षा कामंी नांसेंेल इताकाी दिनांयदिमंता वा अखंं� सेंेवाा झाालेल्या वा पोदाोन्नांताीसेंाठाी पोात्रा असें�ाऱ्या, योग्य व्यक्ताीच्या पोदाोन्नांताीनांे कारण्याता येईल; पोरंताु, जर पोोलीसें अ�ीक्षका दिकांवाा पोोलीसें उपो आयुक्ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां, गटा-अ या सेंंवागागताील पोात्रा व्यक्ताी उपोलब्� हुोता नांसेंेल तार, पोोलीसें उपो मंहुादिनांरीक्षका दिकांवाा अपोर पोोलीसें आयुक्ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां (ताांदित्राका), गटा-अ या पोदाावार भाारताीय पोोलीसें सेंेवाेताील योग्य व्यक्ताीचाी बदालीद्वाारे दिनांयुक्ताी कारण्याता येईल. ४. पोोलीसें अ�ीक्षका दिकांवाा पोोलीसें उपो आयुक्ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां, गटा-अ या पोदाावारील दिनांयुक्ताी पोोलीसें उपो अ�ीक्षका दिकांवाा सेंहुायका पोोलीसें आयुक्ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां, गटा-अ हुे पोदा �ार� कार�ाऱ्या तासेंेचा उक्ता पोदाावार पोाचा वा�ा�पोेक्षा कामंी नांसेंेल इताकाी दिनांयदिमंता वा अखंं� सेंेवाा झाालेल्या वा पोदाोन्नांताीसेंाठाी पोात्रा असें�ाऱ्या योग्य व्यक्ताीच्या पोदाोन्नांताीनांे कारण्याता येईल. ५. पोोलीसें उपोअ�ीक्षका दिकांवाा सेंहुायका पोोलीसें आयुक्ता, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां, गटा-अ या पोदाावारील दिनांयुक्ताी एकातार,— (का) पोोलीसें दिनांरीक्षका, मंोटाार पोरिरवाहुनां, गटा-अ हुे पोदा �ार� कार�ाऱ्या तासेंेचा उक्ता पोदाावार ताीनां वा�ा�पोेक्षा कामंी नांसेंेल इताकाी दिनांयदिमंता वा अखंं� सेंेवाा झाालेल्या वा पोदाोन्नांताीसेंाठाी पोात्रा असें�ाऱ्या योग्य व्यक्ताीच्या पोदाोन्नांताीनांे कारण्याता येईल; दिकांवाा (खं) आयोगामंार्फफता घोेण्याता आलेल्या स्पो�ागत्मंका पोरीक्षेच्या दिनांकाालाच्या आ�ारे, आयोगानांे दिशर्फारसें काेलेल्या, पोुढील दिनांका�ांचाी पोूतागताा कार�ाऱ्या उमंेदावाारांमं�ूनां, नांामंदिनांदाेशनांाद्वाारे कारण्याता येईल :— (एक) वयोमयाषदेा.— (का) दिकामंानां वायोमंयागदाा.—उक्ता पोदााच्या भारताीच्या जादिहुराताीनांुसेंार अजग स्वाीकाृताीच्या अंदितामं दिदानांांकाासें, अठारा वा�े वाय पोू�ग काेलेले असेंावाे. (खं) कामंाल वायोमंयागदाा.—उक्ता पोदााच्या भारताीच्या जादिहुराताीनांुसेंार अजग स्वाीकाृताीच्या अंदितामं दिदानांांकाासें, राखंीवा प्रवागागताील नांसेंलेल्या व्यक्तांसेंाठाी अ�ताीसें वा�े वाय पोू�ग काेलेले वा राखंीवा प्रवागागताील व्यक्तांसेंाठाी त्राेचााळीसें वा�े पोू�ग काेलेले असेंावाे. (देोन) डिकमान शाै�डिणक अहाषता.— एखंाद्या सेंांदिवादि�का दिवाद्यापोीठााचाी यंत्रा अदिभायांदित्राकाी दिकांवाा स्वायंचादिलत्रा अदिभायांदित्राकाी शाखंेताील पोदावाी दिकांवाा शासेंनांानांे दिताच्याशी सेंमंताुल्य असेंल्याचाे घोोदि�ता काेलेली अन्य काो�ताीहुी अहुगताा �ार� काेलेली असेंावाी.महाारााष्ट्रट शाासन रााजपत्र असाधााराण भााग चाारा-ब, डि�संबरा ९, २०२५/अग्रहाायण १८, शाके १९४७ 3 (तीन) अडितरिराक्त अहाषता.—ताी व्यक्ताी, आयोगाद्वाारे घोेण्याता ये�ाऱ्या स्पो�ागत्मंका पोरीक्षेसेंाठाी अजग सेंादार कारण्याच्या अंदितामं दिदानांांकाासें, मंोटाार वााहुनां अदि�दिनांयमं, १९८८ (१९८८ चाा ५९) याच्या प्रकार� दाोनां अन्वाये लायसेंनां दाेण्याकारिरताा प्रादि�काृता काेलेल्या सेंक्षमं प्रादि�कााऱ्याद्वाारे दिदालेली ज� वााहुनांे चाालदिवाण्याचाे वाै� चाालनां लायसेंनां �ार� कारील; पोरंताु, जर, अशा व्यक्ताीनांे, आयोगाद्वाारे घोेण्याता ये�ाऱ्या स्पो�ागत्मंका पोरीक्षेसेंाठाी अजग सेंादार कारण्याच्या अंदितामं दिदानांांकाासें ज� वााहुनांे चाालदिवाण्याचाे वाै� चाालनां लायसेंनां �ार� काेले नांसेंल्यासें, अशी व्यक्ताी पोरिरवाीक्षा�ीनां काालावा�ी पोू�ग हुोण्यापोूवाी असेंे वाै� चाालनां लायसेंनां प्राप्ता कारील, असेंे चाालनां लायसेंनां प्राप्ता कारण्यासें अपोयशी ठारल्यासें त्याचाी सेंेवाा सेंमंाप्ता काेली जाण्यासें पोात्रा असेंेल. अशी व्यक्ताी काो�तााहुी खंं� पो�ू नां दाेताा, वाेळोवाेळी, उक्ता चाालनां लायसेंनां �ार� कारील. (चाारा) शााराीरिराक अहाषता.— (का) पोुरु�ांकारिरताा शारीरिरका प्रमंा�.— (एका) दिकामंानां उंचाी (सेंे.मंी.मंध्ये) १६५ सेंे.मंी. (अनांवाा�ी) (दाोनां) छाताी नां र्फुगवाताा ७९ सेंे.मंी. पोेक्षा कामंी नांसेंावाी आदि� नां र्फुगवालेली छाताी वा र्फुगवालेली छाताी याताील र्फरका ५ सेंे.मंी. पोेक्षा कामंी नांसेंावाा. (खं) मंदिहुलांकारिरताा शारीरिरका प्रमंा�.—दिकामंानां उंचाी (सेंे.मंी.मंध्ये) १५७ सेंे.मंी. (अनांवाा�ी) (ग) दाृष्टाी.—दाुरुस्ताीसेंहु दिकांवाा दिवानांादाुरुस्ताी उत्तमं दाृष्टाी वा वा�ा�� नांसेंावाी. ६. दिनांयमं ५ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदााच्या एकाू� मंंजूर पोदासेंंख्येसेंाठाी, पोदाोन्नांताीनांे वा नांामंदिनांदाेशनांानांे दिनांयुक्ताी दाेण्याचाे प्रमंा� हुे अनांुक्रमंे ५०:५० असेंे राहुील. ७. दिनांयमं ३ ताे ५ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाावारील दिनांयुक्त्या, दिनांयुक्ताी प्रादि�कााऱ्याच्या मंान्यताेनांे कारण्याता येताील. ८. दिनांयमं ५ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाावार नांामंदिनांदाेशनांाद्वाारे दिनांयुक्ता काेलेल्या व्यक्ताीला, या पोदााकारिरताा दिवादिहुता काेलेली दिवाभाागीय पोरीक्षा, दिवादिहुता काेलेल्या काालमंयागदाेता उत्ती�ग कार�े आवाश्यका असेंेल. जर, अशी व्यक्ताी उक्ता पोदााकारिरताा दिवादिहुता काेलेली उक्ता दिवाभाागीय पोरीक्षा, दिवादिहुता काेलेल्या काालमंयागदाेता उत्ती�ग झााली नांाहुी तार, ताी व्यक्ताी, उक्ता पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग हुोईपोय�ता दिकांवाा उक्ता पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग हुोण्यापोासेंूनां सेंूटा दिमंळेपोय�ता, उक्ता पोदाावार काायमं राहुू शका�ार नांाहुी दिकांवाा उच्चा पोदाावारील पोदाोन्नांताीकारिरताा पोात्रा ठार�ार नांाहुी. ९. दिनांयमं ५ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाावार नांामंदिनांदाेशनांानांे दिनांयुक्ताी झाालेल्या आदि� एकादित्राता पोरिरवाीक्षा�ीनां प्रदिशक्ष� काायगक्रमं (सेंीपोीटाीपोी) या अंतागगता प्रदिशक्ष� घोे�ाऱ्या उमंेदावाारासें, त्याच्या सेंेवााज्येष्ठाताेच्या सेंंबं�ाताील बाबी, दिवाभाागीय पोरीक्षा वा इतार सेंेवाा सेंंबंदि�ता बाबी यांचाे, सेंामंान्य प्रशासेंनां दिवाभाागाद्वाारे, वाेळोवाेळी कााढलेल्या दिनांयमं वा दिवादिनांयमं यानांुसेंार दिवादिनांयमंनां कारण्याता येईल. तार्थादिपो, जर अशी व्यक्ताी दिवादिहुता काेलेल्या काालमंयागदाेता उक्ता प्रदिशक्ष� काायगक्रमं (सेंीपोीटाीपोी) सेंमंा�ानांकाारकारीत्या पोू�ग कारण्याता अपोयशी झााली तार, दिताचाी सेंेवाा सेंमंाप्ता काेली जाण्यासें पोात्रा असेंेल. १०. (का) दिनांयमं ३, ४ वा ५ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाांवार पोदाोन्नांताीनांे दिनांयुक्ता कारावायाचाी व्यक्ताी, उक्ता पोदाावार पोदाोन्नांताी दाेण्यापोूवाी अगोदारचा मंराठाी वा दिहुंदाी भाा�ा पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग नांसेंले दिकावां ा त्या पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग हुोण्यापोासेंूनां दिताला सेंूटा दाण्े याता आलेली नांसेंले तार, ताी, त्याबाबताीता शासेंनांानांे वाेळोवाेळी काेलेल्या दिनांयमंानांुसेंार, मंराठाी वा दिहुंदाी भाा�ा पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग कारेल. (खं) दिनांयमं ५ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाावार नांामंदिनांदाेशनांाद्वाारे दिनांयुक्ता काेलेली व्यक्ताी, अगोदारचा मंराठाी भाा�ा वा दिहुंदाी भाा�ा पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग नांसेंेल दिकांवाा त्या पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग हुोण्यापोासेंूनां दिताला सेंूटा दाेण्याता आलेली नांसेंेल तार, ताी, त्याबाबताीता, शासेंनांानांे वाेळोवाेळी काेलेल्या दिनांयमंांनांुसेंार, दिनांयुक्ताीनांंतार दिवादिहुता काालमंयागदाेता मंराठाी वा दिहुंदाी भाा�ा पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग कारील. या पोरीक्षा उत्ती�ग हुोईपोय�ता, ताी व्यक्ताी, वाादि�गका वाेतानांवााढीसेंाठाी दिकांवाा पोुढील पोदाोन्नांताीच्या पोदाांवारील पोदाोन्नांताीसेंाठाी पोात्रा असें�ार नांाहुी. ११. (१) दिनांयमं ५ मंध्ये नांमंूदा काेलेल्या पोदाावार नांामंदिनांदाेशनांाद्वाारे दिनांयुक्ता काेलेली व्यक्ताी, मंहुाराष्ट्र नांागरी सेंेवाा (लहुानां काुटांंबाचाे प्रदिताज्ञाापोनां) दिनांयमं, २००५ याच्या तारताुदांनांुसेंार दिकांवाा याबाबता, शासेंनांानांे, वाेळोवाेळी काेलेले अन्य काो�ताेहुी दिनांयमं, कााढलेले आदाेश दिकांवाा काो�ताेहुी सेंंलेखं यांनांुसेंार लहुानां काुटांंबाचाे प्रदिताज्ञाापोनां सेंादार कारील, अन्यर्था अशी व्यक्ताी उक्ता पोदाावार दिनांयुक्ताीसेंाठाी पोात्रा असें�ार नांाहुी. (२) लहुानां काुटांंबाचाे प्रदिताज्ञाापोनां सेंादार कारण्याच्या दिदानांांकाासें, दाोनांपोेक्षा अदि�का अपोत्ये असें�ारी व्यक्ताी, शासेंकाीय सेंेवाेताील दिनांयुक्ताीसेंाठाी अनांहुग ठारेल. NOTIFICATION Maharashtra Police act. No. H.D.11022/9/2023-Pol 1A.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 5 of the Maharashtra Police Act (XXII of 1951) and in supersession of all existing rules, orders and instruments made in this behalf, the Government of Maharashtra is hereby pleased to make the following rules regulating recruitment to the posts of Deputy Inspector General of Police or Additional Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport (Technical), Group A, Superintendent of Police or Deputy Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A and Deputy Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A, in the Office of the Additional Director General of Police and Director, Police Communication, Information Technology and Transport Department, Maharashtra State, Pune under the administrative control of the Home Department of Government of Maharashtra, namely:— 1. Short title and commencement.-—(1) These rules may be called the Deputy Inspector General of Police or Additional Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport (Technical), Superintendent of Police or Deputy Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport and Deputy Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A, (Recruitment) Rules 2025. (2) These rules shall come into force on the date of publication of these rules in the Maharashtra Government Gazette. 2. Definitions.—In these rules, unless the context requires otherwise,- (a) “Appointing Authority” means the Chief Minister who shall be the competent authority to appoint a candidate to the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police or Additional Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport (Technical), Group A, and Superintendent of Police or Deputy Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A and the Home Minister who shall be the competent authority to appoint a candidate to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A; (b) “Commission” means the Maharashtra Public Service Commission; (c) “Degree” means a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering of a statutory university or any other qualification declared by the Government to be equivalent thereto; (d) “Director General of Police” means the Director General and Inspector General of Police, Maharashtra State appointed under section 6 of the Maharashtra Police Act. (e) “eligibility for promotion” means the eligibility for promotion in accordance with the terms and conditions specified for promotion in the rules, resolutions or orders issued by the General Administration Department, from time to time; (f) “Government” means the Government of Maharashtra; (g) “Home Department” means Home Department of the Government of Maharashtra; (h) “Office of Additional Director General of Police and Director, Police Communication, Information Technology and Transport Department, Maharashtra State, Pune” means the Office of the Additional Director General of Police and Director, Police Communication, Information Technology and Transport Department, Maharashtra State, Pune, on the establishment of the Director General of Police, under the administrative control of the Home Department of Government of Maharashtra ;6 महाारााष्ट्रट शाासन रााजपत्र असाधााराण भााग चाारा-ब, डि�संबरा ९, २०२५/अग्रहाायण १८, शाके १९४७ 3. Appointment to the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police or Additional Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, (Technical), Group A, shall be made by promotion of a suitable person having eligibility for promotion holding the post of Superintendent of Police or Deputy Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A, in the Office of the Additional Director General of Police and Director, Police Communication, Information Technology and Transport Department, Maharashtra State, Pune, having a regular and continuous service of not less than ten years in the said post: Provided that, if no suitable person is available in the cadre of Superintendent of Police or Deputy Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A, a suitable person in the Indian Police Service shall be appointed by transfer to the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police or Additional Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport (Technical), Group A. 4. Appointment to the post of Superintendent of Police or Deputy Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A, shall be made by promotion of a suitable person having eligibility for promotion, holding the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A, having a regular and continuous service of not less than five years in the said post. 5. Appointment to the post of the Deputy Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commissioner of Police, Motor Transport, Group A, shall be made either by,- (a) promotion of suitable person having eligibility for promotion, holding the post of Police Inspector, Motor Transport, Group A, having a regular and continuous service of not less than three years in the said post ; or (b) nomination from amongst the candidates recommended by the Commission on the basis of the result of the competitive examination conducted by the Commission, who fulfil the following criteria, namely :— (i) Age limit.— (A) Lower Age limit.—Eighteen years of age should be completed as on the last date of receipt of application as per advertisement for recruitment to the said post. (B) Upper Age limit.—Thirty-eight years of age completed for the persons not belonging to a reserved category and forty-three years of age completed for the persons belonging to reserved category as on the last date of receipt of application as per advertisement for recruitment to the said post. (ii) Minimum Educational Qualification.—Possesses a degree in the Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering of a statutory university or any other qualification declared by the Government to be equivalent thereto. (iii) Additional Qualification.—The person shall possess, on last date of submission of application for the competitive examination held by the Commission, a valid driving license to drive heavy vehicles, issued by the competent authority authorized to issue license under Chapter II of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988). Provided that, if a person does not possess a valid driving license to drive heavy vehicles on last date of submission of application for the competitive examination held by the Commission, such person shall, before the completion of the probation period, obtain such a valid driving license, failing which he shall be liable to termination of service. Such person shall, without any break, have the said driving license from time to time. (iv) Physical Eligibility.— (A) Physical standards for male.— (I) Minimum height (in centimetres) 165 centimetres (barefooted); (II) Chest girth shall not be less than 79 centimetres deflated and the difference between deflated chest and expanded chest shall not be less than 5 centimetres.महाारााष्ट्रट शाासन रााजपत्र असाधााराण भााग चाारा-ब, डि�संबरा ९, २०२५/अग्रहाायण १८, शाके १९४७ 7 (B) Physical standards for female.—Minimum height (in centimetres) 157 centimetres (barefooted). (C) Vision.—Good vision with or without correction and shall not be colour blind. 6. Appointment to the post mentioned in rule 5 by promotion and nomination shall be made in the ratio of 50:50, respectively, for the total number of sanctioned posts to be filled under rule 5. 7. The appointments to the posts mentioned in rules 3 to 5 shall be made with the approval of the Appointing Authority. 8. A person appointed to the post mentioned in rule 5 by nomination, shall be required to pass the prescribed Departmental Examination for the post within the prescribed limit. If such person fails to pass the said prescribed Departmental Examination for the post within the prescribed limit then he shall not be confirmed on the said post or be eligible for promotion to the higher post until he passes the said examination or has been exempted from passing the said examination. 9. A person appointed to the post mentioned in rule 5 by nomination and undergoing training under the Combined Probationary Training Programme (CPTP), service matters pertaining to seniority, Departmental examination and other service matters shall be regulated by rules and regulations by the General Administration Department, from time to time. However, if a person fails to complete the said training programme (CPTP) satisfactorily, within the prescribed period, his services shall be liable to be terminated. 10. (a) A person appointed to the posts mentioned in rules 3, 4 and 5 by promotion shall pass the Marathi and Hindi Languages examinations as per the rules made in that behalf by the Government, from time to time, unless he has already passed or has been exempted from passing those examinations before getting promoted to the next promotional post. (b) A person appointed to the posts mentioned in rule 5 by nomination shall pass the Marathi and Hindi Languages examinations as per the rules made in that behalf by the Government, from time to time, within prescribed time limit after appointment unless he has already passed or has been exempted from passing those examinations. He shall not be eligible for annual increment or for promotion to the next promotional post, until he passes those examinations. 11. (a) A person appointed to the posts mentioned in rules 3, 4 and 5 by promotion shall possess a certificate of Computer Operations prescribed by the Government, from time to time, unless he has been exempted therefrom before getting promoted to the next promotional post. (b) A person appointed to the posts mentioned in rule 5 by nomination shall possess a certificate of Computer Operations prescribed by the Government, from time to time, within the prescribed time limit after appointment, unless he has been exempted from possessing such certificate of Computer Operations, otherwise he shall not be eligible for annual increment or for the promotion to the next promotional post, until he possesses such certificate. 12. (1) A person appointed to the post mentioned in rule 5 by nomination shall submit a declaration of Small Family as per the provisions of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Declaration of Small Family) Rules, 2005 or any other rules, orders or any instruments issued in this behalf, by the Government, from time to time, otherwise he shall not be eligible for appointment to the post. (2) A person having more than two children on the date of submission of Declaration of Small Family, shall be disqualified for the appointment in Government Service. (3) After appointment of a person in the Government service, if it is proved that he has more than two children, then he shall be disqualified for the appointed post in Government service. 13. The seniority list of the persons appointed to the posts mentioned in rules 3 to 5 shall be maintained at State level. The terms and conditions specified by the Government, in any rules or resolutions issued by Government from time to time, before or subsequent to the appointment of any Government Servant shall be applicable to the concerned Government Servant.
