S.O. 3127(E).—Whereas the President, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (a) of
clause (1) of article 80 of the Constitution of India, read with clause (3) of that article, has nominated four
members to the Council of States to fill the vacancies caused due to retirement of nominated members;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of
1951), the names of the following members nominated by the President are hereby notified for general
information:–
