NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th October, 2021
S.O. 4235(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Sub-Section (3) of
Section 5 read with clause (c) of Sub-Section (1) of Section 6 of the University Grants
Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri K. Sanjay
Murthy, Secretary, Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education as Member of
the University Grants Commission until further orders or till such time Shri K. Sanjay Murthy
occupies the post of Secretary, Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education,
whichever is earlier, vice Shri Amit Khare.
