S.O. 4376(E)— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 and Section 5A
of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960 (59 of 1960), the Central Government hereby amends the
notification S.O. 2222(E) dated 15th May, 2023 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II,
Section-3, Sub-section(ii) by the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying with immediate
effect from the date of publication, namely:-
(1) The Central Government hereby nominates Dr. Muthukumarasamy B., Joint Secretary, Department
of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying as
member of the Animal Welfare Board of India under Section 5(1)(h) of the said Act.
