1. सजं िप्त नाम और प्रारंभ- (1) इस आदेि का संजिप् त नाम जियो टेक्सटाइल्स (गुणवत्ता जनयंरण) आदिे , 2022 ह।ै (2) यह सरकारी रािपर म ेंइसके प्रकािन की तारीख के 180 ददवस पश्च ात लाग ूहोगा। 2. प्रयोज्य - यह आदिे , इस आदिे के साथ संलग्न अनुसूची के कॉलम (2) में जवजनर्दशष्ट माल या वस्ट्तुओं के संबंध म ें लाग ूहोगा, लेदकन यह जनयाशत से संबंजधत माल या वस्ट् तुओं पर लागू नहीं होगा। 3. मानक जचह्न का अजनवाय श उपयोग - उि अनुसूची के कॉलम (2) में जनर्दष्टश माल या वस्ट्त ु तत्स ंबंधी कॉलम (3) म ें जवजनर्दशष्ट तदनुरूपी भारतीय मानक के अनुरूप होंगे और उन पर भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (अनुरूपता जनधाशरण) जवजनयम, 2018 की अनुसूची-।। की योिना-। के अनुसार ब्यूरो की अनज्ञु जप्त के तहत मानक जचह्न लग ेहोंगे। 4. प्रमाणन और प्रवतनश प्राजधकारी – ब्यूरो उि अनुसूची के कॉलम (2) म ें जनर्दष्टश माल या वस्ट्तओु का प्रमाणन और प्रवतशन प्राजधकारी होगा। 5. उल्लघं न के जलए िाजस्ट्त - Short title and commencement.– (1) This Order may be called the Geo Textiles (Quality Control) Order, 2022. (2) It shall come into force on the 180 days after its publication in the official Gazette. 2. Application. –This Order shall apply to goods or article specified in column (2) of the Schedule annexed to this Order, but shall not apply to such goods or article meant for export. 3. Compulsory use of Standard Mark. –The goods or article specified in column (2) of the said Schedule shall conform to the corresponding Indian Standard specified in column (3) thereof and shall bear the Standard Mark under a licence from the Bureau in accordance with Scheme-I of Schedule-II to the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018. 4. Certification and enforcement authority. – The Bureau shall be the certifying and enforcing authority in respect of the goods or article specified in column (2) of the said Schedule. 5. Penalty for contravention. – Any person who contravenes the provisions of this Order shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016).
