of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards is of the opinion that it is necessary
or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following order further to amend the Phthalic Anhydride
(Quality Control) Order, 2021, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement. – (1) This order may be called the Phthalic Anhydride (Quality Control) Second
Amendment Order, 2022.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Phthalic Anhydride (Quality Control) Order, 2021 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), in paragraph
1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:—
“(2) It shall come into force on the 22nd day of June, 2023.”
3. In the said Order, after the TABLE, the following Note shall be inserted, namely:—
“Note : For the purposes of the TABLE, the latest version of the Indian Standards including the amendments issued
thereof and notified by the Bureau of Indian Standards from time to time, shall apply from the date of such
notification”.
