Posted On: 18 SEP 2026 3:20PM by PIB Mumbai :Mumbai, September 18, 2026 The Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), Maharashtra & Goa, organised a Quarterly Pension Adalat at Nashik on September 18, 2026. The Pension Adalat was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Satish Chandra Jha, Controller of Communication Accounts, Maharashtra & Goa.
The Pension Adalat provided an effective platform for pensioners to present their grievances and seek timely resolution of their pension-related issues. The cases presented during the proceedings were examined in detail and dealt with as per the provisions of the CCS (Pension) Rules.The pensioners who attended the proceedings appreciated the transparent and pensioner-friendly functioning of the CCA Maharashtra & Goa office. They also acknowledged the cooperation extended by the officers and staff in addressing their pension-related concerns.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Satish Chandra Jha reiterated the commitment of the CCA, Maharashtra & Goa, towards the timely settlement of pension-related matters and prompt, transparent and pensioner-centric delivery of services. Referring to the departmental motto, “अहनशं सेवामह”, he highlighted the importance of Pension Adalats as a platform for direct interaction with pensioners and effective grievance redressal, emphasizing the need to resolve pension-related grievances within the prescribed timelines through a responsive, transparent, efficient and citizen-centric mechanism.
Mr. Prasanth O. S., Senior Accounts Officer (Pension), and Mr. Sumit Awasthi, Accounts Officer (Admin), were also present on the occasion. They interacted with the pensioners and participated in the proceedings.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Sumit Awasthi, Accounts Officer (Admin). He expressed gratitude to the pensioners, officers and officials for their active participation and contribution to the successful conduct of the Pension Adalat.
