**Summary:**
On July 16-17, 2025, Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Sanjay Seth visited the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, a Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) facility in Hyderabad. The visit included a review of missile and weapon systems programs managed by the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), Research Centre Imarat (RCI), and Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), all part of the Missile Cluster Labs.
At DRDL, Shri Seth toured work centers associated with Astra Mk I & II, Vertically-Launched Short Range Surface-to-Air Missile (VL-SRSAM), and Scramjet Engine facilities. He received briefings on project statuses from Distinguished Scientist Director General Missiles and Strategic Systems Shri U Raja Babu and Director, DRDL Shri G A Srinivasa Murthy.
During his visit to RCI, Director Shri Anindya Biswas updated Shri Seth on the progress of Indigenous Navigation-Aviation Systems, the Onboard Computer Division, and Imaging Infra-Red Seeker facilities.
Shri Seth acknowledged the DRDO scientists' role in advancing Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) through the development of advanced weapon systems and encouraged them to continue enhancing the capabilities of the Armed Forces.

Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Sanjay Seth visited Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, DRDO in Hyderabad
on July 16 & 17, 2025. He reviewed the Missiles & Weapon Systems program being pursued by Defence
Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), Research Centre Imarat (RCI) and Advanced Systems
Laboratory (ASL) of Missile Cluster Labs.
Raksha Rajya Mantri visited various work centers of DRDL i.e., Astra Mk I & II, Vertically-Launched Short-
Range Surface-to-Air Missile and Scramjet Engine facilities and was briefed about the status of the projects

Raksha Rajya Mantri commended the DRDO scientists for playing a crucial role in building Aatmanirbhar
Bharat through realisation of state-of-the-art weapon systems. He exhorted the scientific community to
continue strengthening the Armed Forces to face any challenges in the current scenario.
