Ambedkar Veedhi, Bengaluru, Dated: 23-06-2026 NOTIFICATION The State Government has reconstituted the State Executive Committee vide Notification No.RD 360 TNR 2026 dated 23.06.20206 under Section 20 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 (Central Act No. 53 of 2005), as amended by the Disaster Management (Amendment) Act, 2025. WHEREAS, in order to effectively discharge the functions and responsibilities of the State Executive Committee under the Act and to strengthen disaster risk reduction through proactive preparedness, mitigation, coordination and monitoring measures, it is considered necessary to establish an institutional mechanism for periodic review of disaster management activities in the State; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 21 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, as amended by the Disaster Management (Amendment) Act, 2025, the State Executive Committee hereby constitutes a Sub-Committee of the State Executive Committee, comprising the following members, to assist the State Executive Committee in the discharge of its functions under the Act. The Commissioner KSDMA shall assist the Relief Commissioner in providing secretarial assistance to the Sub-Committee of State Executive Committee in the discharge of its functions under the Act. This Notification shall supersede all previous notifications/orders issued by the State Government relating to the constitution or reconstitution of the Sub Committee of the State Executive Committee.
