by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India read with the Government of India, Ministry of
Home Affairs Notification No. F.27/59-Him (i), dated the 13th July, 1959, and in supersession of Notification
No. DE.1 (44)(8)/E-I/94/10403 dated 28.06.1995 and notification No. DE 1 (49)/8/94/E-I/3435-3442 dated
19.02.2002 except as respects thing done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Lt. Governor of
National Capital Territory of Delhi, is pleased to make the following amendments in existing rules regulating
the method of recruitment to the post of Staff Car Driver (Grade-I) in the Directorate of Education,
Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, namely :-
Amendments
1. (a) for entries against Column No. 4 relating to “Pay Scale level in the pay matrix”, the
following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
Level-5 (Rs. 29200-92300) in the Pay Matrix[PART IV DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 3
(b) for entries against Column No. 11, relating to “In case of recruitment by
promotion/deputation/absorption, grades from which Promotion/deputation/
absorption to be made”, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
Promotion:
From Staff Car Drivers Grade-II in Level-4 (Rs.25500-81100) of Pay Matrix having
six years of regular service in the grade or a combined service of fifteen years as
Staff Car Driver Grade-II and Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) and subject to
passing a Trade Test of appropriate standard to be conducted by Transport
Department.
(c) for entries against Column No. 12, relating to “If a DPC exists, what is its
composition”, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
Group ‘C’ DPC for considering promotion:
1. Special DE (Finance), Govt. of NCT of Delhi - Chairman
2. DCA, Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi - Member
3. Deputy Director of Education (GOC), Govt. of NCT of Delhi - Member
