Ministry of External Affairs REGIONAL PASSPORT OFFICER, PUNE CONDUCTS JOINT INSPECTION OF POPSK SATARA प्रव तथ: 05 JUN 2026 9:22PM by PIB Mumbai Pune, 5 June 2026 A joint inspection of the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK), Satara was conducted on 4th June 2026 by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Department of Posts (DoP), and the service provider. The inspection was carried out jointly by Dr. Vinodkumar Gaikwad, Regional Passport Officer, Pune, along with officials from the Department of Posts and the service provider. The inspection team reviewed service delivery standards, infrastructure, security arrangements, equipment, citizen amenities, and the overall operational efficiency of the POPSK. The POPSK Satara’s Performance During Year 2025: No. of Passport Applications Received 16,04 No. of Passport Issued 15,51 Performance Percentage 96.70% The sustained performance of POPSK Satara reflects the coordinated efforts of the Ministry of External Affairs, Department of Posts, and the service provider in ensuring efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric passport service delivery, with the Department of Posts playing a crucial role in facilitating last-mile service delivery to citizens.
