No. 9(8)/L&B/LA/2022/8224.—In the exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) and (2) of section 4 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013) read with sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2014, read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affair’s Notification No. S.O. 2740(E) dated 21st October 2014, read with S.O. 2004 (E) dated 21st July 2015, the Lieutenant Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi, intends to acquire land for the purpose for construction of 4 lane RCC bridge at upstream of RD 14468m on Najafgarh Drain comprising in Khasra No. 31//12/1 (03 Biswa 02 Biswansi) in Revenue Estate Village Badusarai. The School of Human Ecology, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi, Lothian Road, Kashmere Gate, Delhi -110006 has been established as an organisation to carry out Social Impact Assessment (SIA) study in relation to aforesaid land vide Notification No. 8213 dated 15/12/23. Further, the main objectives of Social Impact Assessment are consultation with stake holders and Public, Survey and public hearing wherever required. The time period for Social Impact Assessment report and Social Impact Management Plan will be six months from date of publication of this notification in the official gazette and same will be disclosed by the way of websites, posters, leaflets and public hearing as the case may be at the conspicuous places in affected areas, and in the office of District Collector (South West), Kapashera, New Delhi - 110037.
