On January 09, 2026, the Reserve Bank of India conducted an underwriting auction for Additional Competitive Underwriting (ACU) of government securities and has set the cut-off rates for underwriting commission payable to Primary Dealers.
The cut-off rate for 6.68% GS 2040 is 0.94 (Paise per ₹100), with a notified amount of ₹16,000 crore, a minimum underwriting commitment amount of ₹8,001 crore, an additional competitive underwriting amount accepted of ₹7,999 crore, and a total amount underwritten of ₹16,000 crore.
The cut-off rate for 6.90% GS 2065 is 1.07 (Paise per ₹100), with a notified amount of ₹13,000 crore, a minimum underwriting commitment amount of ₹6,510 crore, an additional competitive underwriting amount accepted of ₹6,490 crore, and a total amount underwritten of ₹13,000 crore.
