Two (02) Executive Assistants on Contractual Basis – Reg.
The Directorate General of Shipping, in relation to the engagement of Two (02) Executive
Assistants on contractual basis in the DG Shipping Secretariat for the Mumbai region, conducted a
Written Examination and Computer-Based Skill Test on 27.02.2026 at the Directorate premises to
assess the suitability of applicants as per the notified Advertisement and Terms of Reference.
2. In connection with the above, upon completion of evaluation of the Written Test and
Computer-Based Skill Test, the scores of the candidates who appeared in the examination are as

next stage of the selection process, i.e., the Personality Test (Interview), as was notified in the
Advertisement and the Terms of Reference governing the engagement.2
4. All candidates declared as “Qualified” shall be informed separately regarding the schedule
of the Interview and shall be required to appear before the duly constituted Selection Committee
on the date and time to be intimated through a subsequent communication.
5. It is further clarified that mere qualification in the Written and Skill Test does not confer
any right to engagement. The final selection shall be made strictly on the basis of overall
performance in all stages of the selection process and subject to approval of the Competent
Authority.
