6. पदक गोल आकार का, 1.33 जममी मोटाई और 50.8 जममी व्यास का होगा, िो 50 ग्राम स्ट्िणच-लेजपत ताम्र जमश्रधातु से बना होगा। 30 जममी व्यास के आंतररक िृत्त में प्रिासी भारतीय ददिस (पीबीडी) का लोगो उत्कीणच होगा। पदक के अग्र भाग के बाहरी िृत्त में मीनाकारी का कायच उत्कीणच होगा। पदक के पष्ठृ भाग के मध्य में राष्ट्रीय प्रतीक होगा, जिसके र्ारों ओर पुरस्ट्कार का नाम 'प्रिासी भारतीय सम्मान पुरस्ट्कार' उत्कीणच होगा। अंकन बनिी, संयुक्त सजर्ि (डी.ई.) 7385 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART I—SEC.1] MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS
NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 24th September, 2026 F. No. Q/DE/11014/04/2026.—In supersession of the notification No. OI-11014/10/2018-OIA-II dated March 27, 2018 of the Government of India, the President is pleased to revise Point 6 of the same
regulations governing the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards to read as follows:
6. The medallion shall be circular in shape, 1.33 mm in thickness and of diameter 50.8 mm, made from 50 grams of gold-plated copper alloy. The logo of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) would be etched into the inner circle of 30 mm diameter. The front side of the medallion would have minakari work etched in the outer circle. The backside of the medallion would have the National emblem in the middle, with the name of the award as Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award, engraved around it.
