This Directorate had prescribed processing fee to process the applications for approval of training institute or for additional courses. Since the last revision_ of processing fee was done in the year of 2OOO, the Directorate General of Shipping has decided to revise the processing fee for the approval of new maritime institute and maritime courses under the following terms ald conditions: tl Approval for acttlng up of Marltlme Tralalng llrsututes. A registered non-profit making public Trust, a section 8 company or a Public Sector Undertaking shall pay a fee of Rs.3,O0,OOO/- along with on-line application for in-principal approval to set up the institute.
