No.1/DEG(14)/RR/2019/ 588.—In exercise of powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India read with Government of India, Ministry of Home affairs notification number S.O. 3532 published in Part-II Sub section (i) of section 3, Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 24th September, 1968, and in supersession of the recruitment rules for the post of Associate Professor, College of Art notified vide notification No. F.9(183)/91- SB/21274 dated 26th September, 1997 and No. F.11(78)/2011-SB/RR/82 dated the 15th January,2014 except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi, with prior consultation of UPSC is pleased to frame the following Recruitment Rules, regarding the method of recruitment to the post of Associate Professor in College of Art under the Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, namely: 1. Short title and commencement:- (i) These rules may be calledthe, Department of Training and Technical Education, Associate Professor, College of Art Recruitment Rules, 2022. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Number of posts, classification and Level in the Pay Matrix: -The number of posts, its classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in column (2) to (4) of the Schedule attached thereto. 3. Method of Recruitment, Age limit and other qualification: - The method of recruitment to the said post, age limit, qualifications and other matters connected therewith shall be as specified in column (5) to (13) of the said Schedule. 4. Disqualifications: No person,[PART IV DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 5 (a) Who has entered or contracted marriage with the person having a spouse living, or (b) Who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted marriage with any person; shall be eligible for appointment to any of the said posts: Provided that Government may, if satisfied that such a marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and there are other grounds for doing, exempt any person from the operation of these rules. 5. Power to relax:-Whether the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation with Union Public Service Commission, relax any of the provision of these rules with respect to any class or category of person. 6. Saving:-Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes and other specified category of persons in accordance with orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.
