Rc. No.HR3/81/2011/ESMA, dt. 14-10-2011. *** O R D E R: The following notification shall be published in the Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated 31-1-2012. 2. The Commissioner of Printing, Stationery & Stores Purchase, Hyderabad, is requested to furnish 50 copies of the Gazette containing the following Notification to the Government :- NOTIFICATION Whereas, the Government have declared the services under Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Panjagutta, Hyderabad as an Essential Service under sub- section (1) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971) and prohibited strikes in Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences for a period of six months with effect from 02-06-2011 in G.O.Ms.No.143, Health Medical & Family Welfare (E2) Department, Dt.02-06-2011. The period of six months has expired by 01-12-2011. And whereas, the Government are satisfied in public interest that it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences for a period of six months. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Act 20 of 1971), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby prohibit strikes in the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences for a period of six months with immediate effect.
