(SC.X) Deptt., Dated 11.7.2008. 3. From Addl. Secy., APPSC, Hyderabad Letter No. 00024/AC/01/2010, Dtd. 03.05.2011. 4. Memo No. 22206/Ser.A2/2011-1, G.A.(Ser.A) Deptt., Dtd. 15.07.2011. 5. From the Supdt. Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Charminar, Hyderabad Letter No. 663/Estt/GAH/HYD/11, Dtd.02.01.2012. *** ORDER: The G.A.(Ser.A) Deptt., have forwarded the medical bills in respect of Sri. M.G.Gopal, I.A.S., formerly Secretary, APPSC, Hyderabad, presently working as Prl. Secy. to Govt.,, Higher Education Deptt., A.P.Sectt., Hyd, for Rs. 48,505/-, towards treatment obtained for his wife for “Cervical Spondylitis with Lumbar disc prolapse”, during the period from 25.02.2011 to 15.04.2011 at K.S.A.C.Multi Specialty Ayurveda Hospital, Hyderabad, and requested for relaxation of rules in the matter. 2. The Superintendent, Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Charminar, Hyderabad has scrutinized the medical bills and reported in the reference 5th cited that an amount of Rs.38,203/-, is admissible for sanction, subject to relaxation of rules, since the treatment is obtained at un-recognized hospital. 3. Government after careful examination, hereby accord sanction for payment of an amount of Rs. 38,203/- (Rupees thirty eight thousand two hundred and three only) to Sri. M.G.Gopal, I.A.S., towards reimbursement of medical expenses incurred by him for the treatment obtained for his wife for “Cervical Spondylitis with Lumbar Disc Prolapse”, as out patient during the period from 25.02.2011 to 15.04.2011 at K.S.A.C.Multi Specialty Ayurveda Hospital, Hyderabad, which is an un-recognized private hospital, duly relaxing rule (7) and by invoking provisions under rule 14(ii) of the All India Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1954 and as per the orders issued in the G.O.’s 1st & 2nd read above. 4. The Higher Education (OP-claims) Department, A.P.Sectt., Hyderabad is authorized to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para three above to Sri. M.G.Gopal, I.A.S., duly debiting the expenditure to the head of account from which the pay and allowances of the Member of Service are drawn. 5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their Fin. U.O.No. 1898/119/A2/EM&HI/12, Dtd. 03.03.2012.
