Dated 19-03-2012. Read the following:- From Sri G.S. Panda Das, I.A.S. (AP:2006), Project Officer, I.T.D.A. Parvathipuram, Letter Rc. No.126/2011/A, dated 25.02.2012. -o0o- O R D E R:- Under A.I.S.(Leave) Rules, 1955, Sri G.S. Panda Das, I.A.S. (AP:2006), Project Officer, I.T.D.A. Parvathipuram is granted Earned Leave for 06 days from 16.04.2012 to 21.04.2012 with permission to avail prefix and suffix public holidays on 14.4.2012, 15.04.2012 & 22.04.2012 and he may also be permitted to leave the headquarters during the leave period to go to Srinagar of Jammu & Kashmir on L.T.C. The Member of Service is having 138 days of Earned Leave at his credit after deducting the leave now sanctioned. 2. Under F.R.26(b)(ii), it is hereby certified that Sri G.S. Panda Das, I.A.S. (AP:2006), would have continued in the Senior time Scale of pay of I.A.S. but for his going on leave. 3. The Collector & Additional District Magistrate, Vizianagaram shall make incharge arrangements to the post of Project Officer, I.T.D.A., Parvathipuram during the above leave period of Sri G.S. Panda Das. I.A.S. (AP:2006). 4. The intention of Sri G.S. Panda Das, I.A.S. (AP:2006) to avail Leave Travel Concession (Anywhere in India) for the Block Period 2010-2011(Grace Period) to visit Srinagar of Jammu and Kashmir, along with his family viz., Smt Jyothsna, aged 36 years (wife), Mr. Amithesh, aged 13 years (son) and Ms. Ashra, aged 4 years (daughter) during the above leave period, is recorded. 5. The Member of Service is informed that as per the rules in vogue he and his family are entitled to travel by Air, the cheapest economy fare ticket or First Class AC by Train at their option and are also permitted to undertake journeys by Buses, Vans and other vehicles or chartered Buses where these vehicles are operated by the Tourism Department / Corporation in the Public Sector, State Transport Corporations, Transport Services run by other Governments or Local Bodies. The facility of travel by Private Chartered Buses / Taxis has been withdrawn for the purpose of Leave Travel Concession with effect from 16-08-1985 in terms of instructions of Dept. of Personnel and Training in O.M.No.31011/ 34/86-Estt (A) dated 05-02-1987, and accordingly no claim shall be allowed. In terms of instructions of Dept. of Personnel & Training in O.M.No.31011/2/2006-Estt.(A), Dated 27-07-2009, the M.O.S. can travel only by Air India, if he proposes to travel by air. In terms of instructions of Dept. of Personnel & Training in O.M.No.31011/2/2006-Estt.(A), Dated 09-09-2009, the reimbursement of the expenses on air travel while availing of the Leave Travel Concession by the Member of Service will be restricted to the cost of travel by the economy class, irrespective of entitlement. The Member of Service is informed that, he and his family may travel by any route or halt anywhere on the way but the Government’s assistance shall be limited to the fare by the shortest route calculated on a through ticket basis from Parvathipuram to SRINAGAR of JAMMU & KASHMIR and back. 7. The following posting is notified: On return from leave, Sri G.S. Panda Das, I.A.S. (AP:2006) is reposted as Project Officer, I.T.D.A, Parvathipuram.
