Memo.No.7364/218/A1/BG-I/2011, dt:15-03-2012 of Finance (BG.I) Department. * * * ORDER: In the reference 4th read above, an amount of Rs.85,00,000/- has been released to the Collector & District Election Officer, Nellore to meet the expenditure for conduct of Bye- elections to 235-Kovur Assembly Constituency Legislative Assembly Constituency held on 18-03-2012. 2. In the letter 5th read above, the Collector & District Election Officer, Nellore has submitted that the funds released to conduct of Bye-elections to 235-Kovur AC under sub- detailed heads 130/132 & 130/134 are not sufficient and requested to sanction an additional amount of Rs.30,51,550/- to meet the expenditure incurred towards conduct of Bye-elections to 235-Kovur AC held on 18-03-2012. 3. In pursuance of the orders issued in G.O. 2nd read above, sanction is hereby accorded for release of an amount of Rs. 8,85,000-00 (Rupees Eight lakhs eighty five thousand only) to the Collector & District Election Officer, Nellore towards payment to the Regional Manager, APSRTC, Nellore for supplying Buses for transportation of Polling personnel and other election material to different polling stations on 17-03-2012 to 18-03- 2012 in connection with Bye-elections to the 235-Kovur Assembly Constituency in Andhra Pradesh State to be held on 18-03-2012. 4. The expenditure sanctioned in Para-1 above shall be debited to “2015 Elections – M.H. 103 Preparation and Printing of Electoral Rolls - S.H. (04) Assembly and Parliamentary Constituencies – 130 Office Expenses / 134 Hiring of Private Vehicles” and shall be met from the additional provided vide G.O. 2nd read above in relaxation of Quarterly Regulation and Treasury Control orders pending provision of funds by way of obtaining of Supplementary grants during the current financial year 2011-12. 5. The District Treasury Officer, Nellore is requested to admit the bills in audit to the extent of funds now released vide Memo 6th read above. 6. The Collector & District Election Officer, Nellore is requested to ensure that funds are used only for the purpose for which it has been sanctioned, with due attention to consideration of economy and efficiency and shall submit expenditure particulars to Government immediately.
