From the OSD to Advocate General, High Court Buildings, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad Lr.No.12/2011, dt.5.1.2011 and 21.9.2011. 3. Govt. Memo No.761/Accom.A1/2011-1, dt.13.10.2011. 4. From the Executive Engineer (R&B), South Buildings Division, Hyderabad, Letter No.EE/SBD/DEE.II/SPO/Rents/10402, dt.9.2.2012. &&& O R D E R: The OSD to Advocate General, High Court Buildings, Hyderabad informed that in pursuant to the orders issued in the G.O.Rt.No.889, Law (L) Department, dt.8.6.2009, Sri D. V. Sitharam Murthy assumed the office of the Advocate General for the state of Andhra Pradesh on the afternoon of 8.6.2009. By the time of his assumption of charge, the residential office was accommodated in H.No.8-2-693/PC/7, Mithila Nagar, Road No.12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad in the Ground & First floor with effect from 1.10.2010. He has furnished a copy of the plan indicating the portion to be used for residential office purpose along with the consent letter of the owner of the building. In terms of para 8 of the Advocate General (Duties, Leave and Remuneration) order, 1961, the Advocate General is entitled to residential office accommodation at the cost of the Government. He has further informed that the Govt. have accepted the resignation of Sri D.V. Sitharam Murthy, former Advocate General with effect from 17.1.2011 vide orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.161, Law (2) Department, dt.17.1.2011. The Residential office ceased to function from the said premises from dt.17.1.2011. He has also requested to issue necessary orders treating the said premises as Govt. Accommodation to accommodate the Additional Advocate General’s residential office with effect from 1.10.2010 to 16.1.2011. 3. In the reference 3rd read above, a copy of the representations dt.5.1.2011 and 21.9.2011 was sent to the E.E. (R&B), S.B.D, Hyderabad and he was requested to furnish the rent assessment report in respect of the private building House No.8-2-693/PC/7, Mithila Nagar, Road No.12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. 4. Iin the reference 4th read above, the Executive Engineer (R&B), South Buildings Division, Hyderabad has furnished the rental assessment report to the said Private Buildings assessing the rent is worked out to Rs.30,000/- per month.(Area 3000 sft X Rs.10 sft.). 5. After careful examination of the matter, Government hereby declare and treat the private building bearing House No.8-2-693/PC/7, Mithila Nagar, Road No.12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad which is under occupation of Sri D.V. Sitharam Murthy, former Advocate General, A.P. High Court, as his official residence and also hereby fix the rent and sanction an amount of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) per month, as rent under the provisions of G.O.1st read above and also accord sanction for the said amount with effect from 1.10.2010 to 16.1.2011. 6. The expenditure sanctioned in para 5 above, shall be debited to the Head of Account “MH-2216 – Housing (01) Government Residential Building – SH 106 – GPA – SH (06) lease charges”. 7. The Executive Engineer (R&B), Central Buildings Division, Hyderabad is hereby authorized to take necessary action accordingly. 8. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.
