From Legislature (PAC/Elecs.) Secretariat, U.O.Note No.100/P.A.C./Elecs./2011-1, dt: 12-01-2012. 2. From ECI., New Delhi Press Note No. ECI/PN/22/2012, dt:03-03-2012 3. G.O.Rt.No.1186, Finance (Expr.GAD-I) Department, dt: 27-03-2012. 4. From Legislature (PAC/Elecs.) Secretariat, U.O.Note No.100/P.A.C./Elecs./2011-3, dt: 29-03-2012. *** ORDER: In the reference 2nd read above, the Election Commission of India, in its press note has decided to hold Biennial Election to the Council of States of Andhra Pradesh by the Members of the Legislative Assembly to fill up the six seats of vacancies arising due to the retirement of members is going to expire on 02-04-2012. 2. In the U.O.Note 4th read above, the Secretary to State Legislature has requested to sanction an amount of Rs.1,24,200/- to meet the contingent expenditure on the period of filling of nominations, day of scrutiny, polling and counting of votes including the election process and also for the purchase of necessary stationery articles, videography, etc., in connection with the A.P. Legislative Assembly, 2012. 3. Government hereby accord sanction to release an amount of Rs. 1,24,200/- (Rupees One lakh twenty four thousand and two hundred only) to the Secretary to State Legislature & Returning Officer, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Secretariat to meet the expenditure in connection with Biennial Election to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, 2012 by the Members of the Legislative Assembly to be held on 22-03-2012. The expenditure sanctioned in Para 3 above shall be debited to “2015 Elections - M.H.106 Charges for conduct of elections to State Legislature - SH (05) Legislative Council – 130 Office Expenditure / 132 Other Office Expenditure” and shall be met from the funds provided vide G.O. 3rd read above. 5. This order does not require the concurrence of Finance Department.
