Read the following: 1. G.O.Ms.No.651, General Administration (Elections.A) Department, Dated:29-11-1988 2.G.O.Ms.No.155, G.A.(Poll.D)Department, Dated:28-03-2011. 3.From the Hon’ble Minister for Major Industries, Sugar, Commerce & Export Promotion, Govt. of A.P. Note, Dated:13-03-2012. & & & ORDER: In terms of the provision contained in A.P. Payment of Salaries and Pension and Removal of Disqualification’s Act,1953 and the Rules issued by notification in G.O.Ms.No.651, General Administration (Elections.A) Department, Dt:29-11-1988 and orders issued in G.O. 2nd read above, Dr.J.Geeta Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Major Industries, Sugar, Commerce & Export Promotion, Government of Andhra Pradesh is hereby sanctioned a repayable Motor Car Advance of Rs.4,50,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Fifty Thousand only) towards purchase of a Motor Car for his use in lieu of Government vehicle. 2. The advance sanctioned in Para 1 above is subject to the following terms and conditions: (i) The advance sanctioned in para (1) above shall be recovered in 30 monthly Installments @ Rs.15,000/- per month. (ii) The interest chargeable on the advance shall be @ 5.50% per annum which shall be recovered in 4 monthly installments thereafter. (iii) The motor car shall be purchased with-in one month from the date on which the advance is drawn, failing which the entire amount of the advance together with the interest thereon, shall be refunded to the Government. (iv) If the actual price paid for the Motor Car is less than the advance drawn, the balance amount shall be refunded to the Government forthwith. (v) The transaction shall be completed from the date of drawal of the advance within one month, the loanee shall execute a mortgage bond in the Form-14, A.P. Financial Code hypothecating the car to the Government as security for the advance. (vi) In the event of demitting office, the total balance amount of repayable advance outstanding together with interest thereon, shall be repaid in one lump-sum immediately after resignation/demitting of office. (vii) The advance shall be drawn within three months from the date of sanction. P.T.O.// 2 // 3. The amount sanctioned in para-1 above shall be debited to “7610 – Loans to Government Servants – MH 202 – Advance for purchase of Motor Conveyances – (06) Loans to Ministers, Speaker etc. for purchase of Motor Cars during the financial year 2011-12. 4. The Assistant Secretary to Government and Drawing and Disbursing Officer of Industries & Commerce Department shall take necessary action for the drawl and disbursement of the advance and to watch the recovery of the loan amount including the interest thereon, as per rules.
