From the CC&RCS, AP., Hyderabad Lr.Rc.No. 19189/2009-Vig., dated 27.10.2011 **** ORDER:- Sri Panangipalli Uma Shankar, Asst. Registrar Cum Sub Divisional Cooperative Officer, Ramachandrapuram, East Godavari Dist was traped on 27.08.09 by the ACB Officials, when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs.5,000/- from the complainant. In the reference 2nd read above, the Accused Officer, Sri Panangipalli Uma Shankar, Asst. Registrar Cum Sub Divisional Cooperative Officer, was placed under lsuspension by the Proceedings of the Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, A.P. Hyderabad under Rule 8 (2) (a) of Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Callasificatiuon, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991. 2. In the reference 3rd read above, the Director General, Anti Corruption Bureau, A.P. Hyderabad, Hyderabad has recommended for prosecution of the accused officer in a court of law under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Accordingly, orders were issued in the reference 4th read above for prosecution of the said accused officer in a Court of law.. 3. In the reference 5th read above, the Commissioner for Cooperation & Registrar of Cooperative Societies, A.P., Hyderabad,, has submitted the proposal to review the suspension of Sri Panangipalli Uma Shankar, Asst. Registrar Cum Sub Divisional Cooperative Officer, in terms of G.O.Ms.No. 86, General Administration (Ser.C) Department., dated 8.3.1994 as the A.O. was placed under suspension w..e.f.27.8.2009 and two (2) years period of suspension is completed by 27.8.2011 and also the case is pending in the Court of Spl. Judge for SPE&ACB. Vijayawada in CC No.41/2010. 4. Accordingly, Government have reviewed the suspension of Sri Panangipalli Uma Shankar, Asst. Registrar cum Sub Divisional Cooperative Officer, Ramachandrapuram, East Godavari Dist (U/s) and hereby order to reinstate him into service, duly revoking the suspension, with immediate effect, pending finalization of the prosecution proceedings initiated against him.
