Purushothama Rao, Chairman, HPC on RIAD Programme in the reference sixth read above, has submitted medical bills for an amount of Rs. 5,295/- towards medical treatment secured to his broken right elbow at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, as out patient alongwith relevant documents and requested to reimburse the amount. 2. In the letters fourth and fifth read above, the Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, has been requested to provide medical treatment to Sri T. Purushothama Rao for his broken elbow, Urine Bladder and other problems, on credit basis, and to send medical bills to Government for settlement. 3. In the letter seventh read above, the Apollo Hospital Authorities have sent medical bills for an amount of Rs.65,840/- and Rs.1,79,719/- towards the treatment provided to Sri T. Purushothama Rao, as in patient, and requested to settle the claims. 4. The Director of Medical Education, AP, Hyderabad, who has been requested to scrutinize the three medical claims and indicate the admissible amounts, has stated that medical reimbursement is not allowed for the expenses incurred towards Orthopedic treatment as out patient. 5. In respect of other medical claims for Rs. 65,840/- and Rs.1,79,719/-, the DME has indicated the net admissible amounts as Rs. 37,489/- and Rs. 90,000/- respectively by imposing 10% cut on the admissible amounts in terms of G.O.Ms.No. 74, HM & FW (K1) Dept., dt. 15.3.2005.6. In terms of the orders issued in G.Os first and second read above and para 7 of G.O. third read above, sanction is hereby accorded for payment of an amount of Rs.41,655/- and Rs. 1,00,000/- totaling to Rs. 1,41,655/-, (Rupees One lakh Forty One thousand Six hundred and Fifty Five only) (without imposing 10% cut) to the Apollo Hospitals Enterprises, Ltd. Hyderabad, towards settlement of medical bills sent by them for the treatment provided on credit basis to Sri T. Purushothama Rao, Chairman, High Power Committee on Remote & Interior Areas Development Programme, during 28.4.2010 to 2.5.2010 and from 5.5.2010 to 8.5.2010. 7. The expenditure sanctioned in para (6) above shall be debited to the same Head of Account to which the Medical Reimbursement claim of Ministers is debited. 8. The General Administration (Claims.B) Department shall draw the amount by way of a Cheque drawn in favour of “APOLLO HOSPITALS ENTERPRISES, Ltd. HYDERABAD” and send it to General Administration (SC.A) Department for onward transmission to the concerned. 9. This order does not require the concurrence of Finance Department as per rules or orders on the subject.
