From Social Welfare Dept. file bearing C.No.4306/SW.OP/A1/2012. ***** ORDER: In the G.O 1st read above, orders were issued permitting Sri J. Raymond Peter, I.A.S., Principal Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department to visit Estonia to attend one week course on “e-Governance Policy for political functionaries and officials involved in making policy and implementation of e-Governance initiatives from 07-11-2011 to 13-11-2011. The training programme could not be held due to the Parliament session on the above scheduled dates. The Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication Information and Technology, Govt. of India, has conveyed that the programme will now be held from April 8th to 14th 2012 at Tallinn, Estonia. 2. In partial modification of the orders issued in the G.O. 1st read above, permission is hereby accorded to Sri J. Raymond Peter, I.A.S., Principal Secretary to Govt., Social Welfare Department, to visit Estonia to attend one week course on “e-Governance and ICT Policy” for Indian Officials at Tallinn, Estonia, from 08-04-2012 to 14-04-2012. 3. The period of absence of the above Member of Service in connection with the above visit including journey time, both ways, shall be treated as on duty, during which, the officer will draw his grade pay and allowances which he would have drawn but for his visit to Estonia. The above Member of Service is requested to follow the instructions issued in G.O.Ms.No.124, Finance & Planning, dated 31-08-2000 read with Circular Memo No.528/04/TA/2012, dated 09-02-2012 for drawal of Traveling Allowance and Dearness Allowance. 4. The Officer permitted shall submit a report of his visit to the General Admn. (Spl-D) Department and also a copy to Social Welfare Department. 5. The expenditure on the tour of the Officer will be borne by the Department of Information Technology, Government of India, New Delhi. 6. Dr. A. Vidyasagar, IAS., Principal Secretary to Govt., Tribal Welfare Dept., shall look after the work of the said post during the visit of Sri J. Raymond Peter, I.A.S., Prl. Secy. to Government, Social Welfare Department. 7. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U.O.No.4281/PFS/2011, Dt.07.10.2011.
