ORDER:-
In the letter read above, the Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of
Cooperative Societies, A.P., Hyderabad has requested to exempt the Tirupathi
Coop. Town Bank Limited, Tirupathi, Chittoor District from the provisions under
Rule 23 of APCS Act, 1964 by virtue of powers under section 123 of APCS Rules,
1964, as the Bank could not be paid the dividends to the share holders of the bank
for the year 2006-07 to 2009-2010 due to lack of quorum for General Body Meeting
conducted by the bank, which is required under Rule 23 of APCS Rules, 1964.
2. After careful examination, Government hereby exempt the Tirupathi Coop.
Town Bank Limited, Tirupathi, Chittoor District from the provisions under Rule 23
of APCS Rules by virtue of powers under Section 123 of APCS Act, 1964.
3. The Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies,
A.P. Hyderabad, is directed to take further necessary action accordingly.
