U.O.No.23/COI-R/2012, dt.04-02-2012 of GA(COI-R)Dept. --oOo-- O R D E R: In the reference 1st read above, orders were issued appointing Dr. Subhrendu Bhattacharya, I.A.S., Commissioner of Inquiries as Inquiry Authority to conduct common inquiry into the charges framed against (7) Charged Officer i.e. (1)Sri Mohd.Ilyas, Joint Director of Marketeing(Retired), (2)Sri M. Narsi Reddy, Deputy Director of Marketing(Retired), (3) Sri G. Ramakrishna, Joint Director of Marketing(Retired), (4) Sri K. Sudhakar, Selection Grade Secretary, (5) Sri K. Viswanatham, Selection Grade Secretary(Retired), (6) Sri L. Rajaiah, Secretary Grade-I(Retired) and (7) Sri G. Narayana, Secretary Grader-II(Retired). Government have also appointed Sri M. Vara Prasada Rao, Advocate as Presenting Officer to present the case on behalf of the disciplinary authority in support of the articles of charges on which inquiry is being conducted against the said above Charged Officers. 2. In the reference 2nd & 3rd read above, Government have dropped further action against Sri Mohd.Ilyas, Joint Director of Marketing(Retired) & Sri M. Narsi Reddy, Deputy Director of Marketing(Retired) in the instant disciplinary case respectively. Accordingly, in the reference 4th read above, Government have deleted the names of these two Charged Officers i.e. Sri Mohd. Ilyas, Joint Director of Marketing(Retired) and Sri M. Narsi Reddy, Deputy Director of Marketing(Retired) from the purview of inquiry of Commissioner of Inquiries-SB. 3. In the reference 5th read above, the General Administration(COI-R)Department have informed that Dr. Subhrendu Bhattacharya, I.A.S., Commissioner of Inquiries was retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31-12-2011. Hence, it has been decided to reassign the pending case pertaining to the above said Charged Officers to Sri Jitender, I.P.S., Commissioner of Inquiries. Therefore, the General Administration (COI-R)Department have requested to issue orders reassigning the above case to Sri Jitender, I.P.S., Commissioner of Inquiries. 3. In view of the above circumstances, in partial modification of orders issued in the reference 1st read above, Government hereby appoint Sri Jitender, I.P.S., Commissioner of Inquiries as Inquiry Authority in place of Dr. Subhrendu Bhattacharya, I.A.S., Commissioner of Inquiries. He is requested to conduct common inquiry into the charges framed against (5) Charged Officers i.e. (1)Sri G. Ramakrishna, Joint Director of Marketing(Retired), (2) Sri K. Sudhakar, Selection Grade Secretary, (3) Sri K. Viswanatham, Selection Grade Secretary(Retired), (4) Sri L. Rajaiah, Secretary Grade-I(Retired) and (5) Sri G. Narayana, Secretary Grade-II (Retired.
