Read the following: 1.G.O.Rt.No.437, A&C (Coop.VII) Dept., dt.21-04-2011. 2.From the Commissioner for Cooperation & Registrar of Cooperative Societies, AP., Hyderabad Lr.Rc.No.23845/2011/HR.3, dated:11.01.2012. &&& ORDER: In the reference 1st read above, Government have appointed Sri G. Subba Raju as Person-in-charge under section 32 (7)(a) of APCS Act, 1964 to Sri Rama Co- operative House Building Society Limited, Daba Gardens, Visakhapatnam for a period of six months or till the elections are over whichever is earlier from the date of assumption of the charge, to manage the affairs of the said Society, by invoking 123 of APCS Act, 1964. Sri G. Subba Raju assumed charge of the post of Person-in-charge on 05.05.2011. 2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Commissioner for Cooperation & Registrar of Cooperative Societies, AP., Hyderabad has stated that the District Cooperative Officer, Visakhapatnam vide his letter dt.17.11.2011, has submitted proposal for extension of the term of Person-in-charge of Sri Rama Co-operative House Building Society Limited, Visakhapatnam under section 32 (7)(a) of APCS Act, 1964 as the term was expired on 04.11.2011 and there is no possibility to conduct elections to the Managing Committee of the said Society till vacation of stay orders by Hon’ble High Court in W.P.M.P.No.5129/2010 in W.P.No.3944/2010 filed by Sri G. Subba Raju in Hon’ble High Court, A.P., Hyderabad questioning the validity of the proceedings Rc.No.3845/05-B (Coop.) dated 04.02.2010 issued by the Election Authority. 3. Government, after careful examination of the proposal, hereby extend the term of the existing Person-in-charge Committee of Sri Rama Co-operative House Building Society Limited, Visakhapatnam for a period of six months beyond 04.11.2011 or till the elections are conducted to the Managing Committee and elected Managing Committee assumed charge whichever is earlier by invoking the powers U/s 123 of the APCS Act, 1964. 4. The Commissioner for Cooperation & Registrar of Cooperative Societies, AP., Hyderabad is requested to take further necessary action in the matter.
